Dharam Bahadur Lama- 1st National Amateur Champion
Dharam Bahadur Lama of Makawanpur district became the national champion in the category of amateur. He got the title of National Amateur Champion after beating Rajkaji Maharjan in the ninth round of 1st National Amateur Chess Championship, Saturday. He made 7.5 points out of nine. It is the maiden title in his chess career.
